exhibits and activities

I’m currently in a group show at Roots, Bath Place, Taunton, along with other students on the Fine Art degree course at Somerset College. It runs from February 6^th until early April.

I’m showing a collection of works that include paintings, monoprints, etchings and charcoal drawings.

The other artists are Lucy Beer (mixed media), Helen Gatland (prints), Andrea Rowbotham (mixed media) and Alex Thomas (painting).

I’m helping to organise a show of outdoor sculpture by Somerset College students at the Taunton Flower Show in August 2007. This is a really exciting opportunity for us to showcase our work to a wider audience. To date the are around 10 students signed up to exhibit at various locations around Vivary Park during the Flower Show weekend. Other works, subject to space, may be on show and for sale near the Seeds of Change lecture tent.

		These are images of some work I showed in February 2007 at the Winter Art Garden, run by Pauline Homeshaw at Burges Meadow, Maundown, Wiveliscombe, Somerset. Funds from the show are to be used for the 10 Parishes Festival 2007 (8^th – 16^th September). I’m also planning to exhibit then, hopefully at the Tithe Barn, Fitzhead in a group show. More details when I know what I’m doing! Keep an eye on the 10 Parishes Festival literature for lots of great events and shows.
